1. Save File Path

Press the Win+R keys to open the Run dialogue box.
Now, enter %USERPROFILE%/AppData/Local/Pal/Saved/ in the search bar.
Click on OK to head over to the ‘Save Games’ folder.
Here you’ll find the in-game progresses. (17-digit number file)
Each saved file is progress data.
The most recent one will contain the recent progress.

2. Config Files on Steam (Dedicated Server)

4. Palworld Save File and Config File Location (Xbox Game Pass)

If you’re using the Xbox PC Game Pass subscription and installed Palworld on your computer using Game Pass then you’ll need to check the steps below to access the game save file and configuration file location.

Press the Win+R keys to open the Run dialogue box.
Enter the following path and click on OK.

C:\Users\[Your Username]\AppData

From the AppData folder, open the Packages folder.
Locate the PocketpairInc.Palworld_ad4psfrxyesvt folder.
Now, head over to the SystemAppData folder.
Open the wgs folder > Here you can see the required files.

Find the Hidden AppData Folder

In case, you’re unable to find out the AppData folder that means it’s hidden for you. You can check the steps below to make it visible for you and then try performing the above methods.

For Windows 10:

Open any folder on your computer (old or new).
Go to the View option at the top of the menu.
Enable the ‘Show Hidden Files and Folders’ option.
Click on Apply.

For Windows 11:

Open any folder on your computer (old or new).
Go to the View option at the top of the menu.
Click on it > Select Show.
Tick the ‘Hidden Items’ option.
