There are quite a few exciting new features in the Definitive Edition of Nintendo’s popular open-world roleplaying game, Xenoblade Chronicles. We will discuss how the players can manually save in-game progress.
Although the game features a pretty reliable auto-save technique, which keeps saving your progress quite regularly as you play, it will also help you to know how to save your game manually. Let us take a look at the manual saving system in Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition.
Save Game Manually in Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition
It is easy enough to save your game in Xenoblade Chronicles manually: Definitive Edition. All you need to do is to hit the + button on your controller. In the menu that comes up, choose “Save Game.” You should now notice the option to create a new save or overwrite an existing one. In all, you have four slots for save games in Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition – this includes three manual save games and one autosave that is updated automatically as you play. The topmost save slot is permanently reserved for your latest autosave, and you will not be able to overwrite it. You can choose to replace the other three if you wish, though.
