All the interested Oppo A9X device users should upgrade their handset to the software version C.08 in order to receive the OTA update. New Update on July 1, 2020: Oppo has announced the ColorOS 7 stable update rollout date officially on the ColorOS community page. July 10, 2020, is the scheduled date for Oppo A9X Android 10 update roll-out process. The first batch of ColorOS 7 stable update will be rolled out to Chinese variant Oppo A9X variants initially. New Update on June 9, 2020: Oppo has finally released the Oppo A9X early adopters recruitment notice based on ColorOS 7 officially via the ColorOS community page. The beta testing recruitment process starts from June 9 at 10:00 and the first 10,000 people will be selected for the early adopters’ program. Make sure that your Oppo A9X device should run on the software version A.19 in order to receive the OTA update.
Head over the phone Settings > Software Update > Settings icon in the upper right corner > Upgrade early adopters > ColorOS 7 official version early adopters. Fill in the required information and check the early adopters’ notice and privacy policy. Next, tap on ‘Apply now’. Successfully participated users will receive the OTA update within 3 days. New Update on April 30, 2020: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the update schedule has been delayed in Q3 2020, and now we have a specific release date of Oppo A9X Android 10 ColorOS 7 early adopters update, so all the Oppo A9X users should feel relieved. Yes! The company has officially revealed the beta update release date will be May 28 for the Oppo A9X Chinese variant users.
Although there is no specific date mentioned about the global beta release, we will assume that the broader rollout process will take place in June most probably if the beta testing process goes smoothly. In addition, another sibling Oppo A9 Chinese variant is also set to receive the ColorOS 7 adaption process from the same date of May 28, 2020.
Oppo has already confirmed on its official community forum that the Oppo A9X will start receiving the early adopters’ update from Q2 2020 expectedly. The update process will start in China initially and users will need to apply for the beta testing program. So, wait for the official announcement which will be updated here.
