Well, you read it right! You can now install the MIUI 11 on Xiaomi Mi A3 (codenamed Laurel Sprout) based on Android 9.0 Pie. To install MIUI 11 on Xiaomi Mi A3 (Laurel Sprout), you have to unlock the bootloader and install the latest TWRP Recovery. MIUI ROM is one of the aftermarket firmware which is created by Xiaomi and also supported for many Non-Xiaomi devices. The Mi A3 features a 6.1-inch HD+ OLED display with 720×1560 pixels resolution having a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It’s protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 with a dot drop notch. This device is powered by a 2.0GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset with 4GB of RAM. The storage is 64GB inbuilt which can be expandable up to 256GB via a MicroSD card.
The device runs on the Android 9.0 Pie Stock UI out-of-the-box. It packs a non-removable Li-Po 4,030 mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging support. Most importantly, it has an in-display Fingerprint sensor and AI Face Unlock feature.
Xiaomi Mi A-series devices always offer great camera quality like any affordable flagship killer camera. This device packs a 48MP primary camera (f/1.79), a secondary 8MP camera (f/2.2), and a third 2MP camera. The rear camera setup has autofocus and an LED flash as well. While the front features a 32MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture lens along with AI modes.
In terms of the connectivity options, it includes Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, IR Blaster, USB Type-C port, FM Radio, 3G/4G LTE, etc. Sensors on the phone include an accelerometer, ambient light, gyro, proximity, and fingerprint sensor. The Xiaomi Mi A3 measures 153.48×71.85×8.50 mm and weighs 173.80 grams. It’s available in three colors such as Not Just Blue, More Than White, and Kind of Gray color.

Steps to Install MIUI 11 on Xiaomi Mi A3 (Laurel Sprout):
To install MIUI 11 on your device first, unlock the Xiaomi Mi A3 (Laurel Sprout) bootloader and flash the latest TWRP Recovery. Also, make sure to download and follow the pre-requisites very carefully.

Pre-Requirements:
Supported device: Xiaomi Mi A3 (Laurel Sprout) device.
You need to unlock the device bootloader at first.
Download the required TWRP file, MIUI 11 zip file, and Supported GApps file from below.
Keep your device battery charged up to 60% at least for a smoother process.
Now take a backup your ROM. Just to be on a safe side
Select Advanced Wipe > Select the data, system, vendor, cache. Then swipe to wipe it. [Remember this will wipe all your data from your Xiaomi Mi A3]
Now flash the latest OxygenOS 9.0 Pie
In the recovery menu, tap on Install button >> Select the ROM zip from the location where you have moved earlier.
Swipe to confirm flash.
Flash the Magisk zip file from the Install option.
Finally, reboot your phone into a new system. Wait for it, as the boot process will take a few minutes.
