Finally, Android 10 Q is official and so is the AOSP 10 Source code. Samsung Galaxy A3 (A300F/H/FU) (a3lte) is now getting the unofficial version of Lineage OS 17.1 developed by vl_w Recognized Developer. The device is launched in October 2014. The smartphone came out of the box with Android 4.4.4 KitKat. Now you can enjoy Lineage OS 17.1 based on Android 10. Full credits to him and Lineage team. Now you can install Lineage OS 17.1 on Samsung Galaxy A3 which is stable enough to use as a daily driver.
Android 10 is Google’s 10th version of Android OS with plenty of new features and system UI changes. Google doesn’t come with any dessert item name for the new Android version this time and that’s a good move. If you’re new to the Android ecosystem, it’s worth mentioning that Android is an Open Source Project (AOSP) by Google. With the newly released Android 10 source code, the Lineage team has started working on Lineage OS 17.1 for all the supported devices.
To install Lineage OS 17.1 on your Samsung Galaxy A3, you need to unlock the bootloader and run the latest TWRP Recovery. If you are on the old version, you will see error 7 warning text while installing the custom ROM on Samsung Galaxy A3 device.
Hi, thanks for this useful guide. I am trying to install Lineage OS 17.1 on my sma300fu, however am having some troubles: system start up crashes during configuration (language, date/time) and automatically restarts. This was not the case with Lineage 14.1.
I am probably missing some steps, in particular I cannot quite understand your instruction: ” The system will be mounted already Uncheck it & Remount the system and vendor manually. “.
Many many thanks!
