Now you can download and install Lineage OS 16 on Huawei Enjoy 6s. The developer yener90 has started working on the next version of Lineage OS based on Android Pie called Lineage OS 16. The phone packs 32GB internal memory which can also be expanded upto 256GB via microSD card. The camera on the Huawei Enjoy 6s comes with 13 MP, LED flash, panorama, HDR and 5 MP front shooting camera.

Steps to install Lineage OS 16 on Huawei Enjoy 6s

Follow this guide and download the TWRP recovery, drivers and things to start with.

Pre-Requisite:

• Supported: Huawei Enjoy 6s
• Charge your phone up to 80% or 70%.
• Download Huawei USB Drivers
• Download ADB and Fastboot Drivers [Download ADB SDK Platform Tools]
• Lineage OS 16 zip file: Download
• Check out the supported device list at Lineage OS 16
• Download latest Gapps file:
  • Android 9.0 Pie Gapps Package
  • Open Gapps for Android Pie
  • Gapps for Lineage OS 16
  • Mind The Gapps Package

Instructions to Install:

1. First of all, You need to enable the developer option and activate the OEM unlock and USB debugging.
2. Now you need to unlock the bootloader on your Huawei Enjoy 6s.
3. Once you have unlocked, you must install the latest TWRP Recovery on Huawei Enjoy 6s.
4. Now the guide will be easy, boot into TWRP Recovery
5. You need to Decrypt and Re-Encrypt Data Partition on Huawei Enjoy 6s.
6. You can now take a complete backup of your ROM using TWRP Recovery.
7. Now you need Wipe System Data on TWRP Recovery

9. Swipe to confirm the flashing.
10. Now you need to install the Android Oreo Gapps file. (TWRP -> Install -> Select Gapps zip and swipe to flash)
11. You can now reboot to enjoy Lineage OS 16 on Huawei Enjoy 6s.
12. If you want to root you can either try SuperSU root or you can try Magisk root.
