Good News for all Infinix Zero 5 (X603) owners. Now you can install the latest Lineage OS 14.1 on Infinix Zero 5 based on Android 7.1.2 Nougat. Lineage OS is a new Open Source project morphed after the death of CyanogenMod OS. However, the man behind the LineageOS seems to be the CEO of Cyanogen.inc Steve Kondik. With the new LineageOS, you can enjoy the latest features which comes with Android Nougat as well as LineageOS features. This is not an official LineageOS ROM built for Infinix Zero 5, but you can enjoy the real feature made from the LineageOS gerrit. The ROM is Stable state and can use as a daily driver. This LineageOS 14.1 ROM did not work for me. I went through the flashing process smoothly but after flashing the device kept rebooting to TWRP recovery only. I re-wiped and re-flashed but the same problem. I could not even power the device down with TWRP. Eventually I had to restore the device to factory condition by using the Flashing Tool to flash the stock ROM I downloaded from InfinixMobility website.
I notice that this LinageOS ROM is UNOFFICIAL. I would wait for an official LineageOS.
