Since the smartphone market is rimming with budget-oriented devices, LG has finally revealed it’s budget smartphone LG W30 & LG W30 Pro. These devices are specially designed to meet the modern demand and beat the competition. However, since these new devices by LG are starting from 9,999 INR, there’s hardly any chance that they are waterproof. But many customers want to know that whether the new LG W30 & W30 Pro are waterproof or not. Well, today we will find out in our LG W30 & W30 Pro waterproof test.

LG W30 & W30 Pro was launched on 26th June 2019. It comes with killer specs and beautiful design with a notch display. Most LG smartphones come under the mid-range segment, however, this is interesting as these both are very affordable. Well, today we will conduct LG W30 & W30 Pro waterproof test to find out whether these two devices are waterproof or not.

Waterproof smartphones are really necessary in the modern world since it is great to have a smartphone which doesn’t get water damage. A waterproof smartphone is a smartphone which can handle any accidental water splashes and an extended period of water immersion. A waterproof smartphone also comes with many features like underwater photography underwater video calls etc.

You will be slightly disappointed after knowing that the new LG W30 & W30 Pro are not IP67 or IP68 certified. This means that they cannot stand water damage at all. So, Dropping them in water can render these phones unusable. It is because for a smartphone to be waterproof, the water should not reach the internal circuitry at all.
