It’s no secret that indie hit Lethal Company has become something of a phenomenon the same way Among Us did over a decade ago, but a common complaint players have how difficult it is to organize a lobby. Nonetheless, we know how to increase Lethal Company’s maximum player count.
Those who want to enjoy Lethal Company with more players than the default four can install the MoreCompany mod. Up to 8 players can host lobbies with this mod, although higher player counts may cause stability problems.
How To Find And Install The MoreCompany Mod
There is a MoreCompany mod available through the Thunderstore, published by user notnotnotswipez. It is recommended that you first download the BepInExPack from Thunderstore as well before downloading this mod.
With the Overwolf app, installing both BepInExPack and MoreCompany mods is as easy as clicking ‘Install with Mod Manager’ on the MoreCompany page. Manually installing the mods was unsuccessful on multiple occasions.
How To Install MoreCompany Using The Mod Manager
To access the launcher’s search bar, type “Lethal Company” and click “Select Game,” which will bring up a blank page. Once that step is completed, return to the Thunderstore and select ‘Install with Mod Manager.’
Whenever the pop-up wants to launch the application, accept it, giving you the following options:
- Ensure that both mods’ toggles are blue, meaning they are on.
- In the top right corner, click “Launch Modded Version.”
- Wait until the BepInExPack mod finishes running.
In the game’s launch screen, you should see ‘MC’ beneath the version number of the game, with the ‘MoreCompany’ logo replacing the Lethal Company logo if you are successful.
