Steps to Backup QCN/EFS on Qualcomm devices
Download the QPST package and run “QFIL.exe” file.
Make sure that the program is in “Lenovo HS-USB Diagnostics” mode.
In the top menu of the program, navigate to “QFIL” select “Tools” >> “QCN Backup Restore”
A new window will open. Click on “Backup QCN” and wait for the end of the backup process. It will show the following process:
Start Download QCN
COM Port number:7
Checking if phone is connected...
Is PhoneConnected: Passed. Phone is connected
Sent SPC code to the phone successfully
Downloading QCN file : C:\temp\00000000.qcn
Done downloading the qcn file: C:\temp\00000000.qcn
Finish Backup QCN
Note: By default, the backup QCN file with the name of “00000000.qcn” will be saved to “C: \ temp \”. You can further access this file if you want to.
Steps to Restore QCN/EFS on Qualcomm devices
Download the QPST package and run “QFIL.exe” file.
Make sure that the program is in “Lenovo HS-USB Diagnostics” mode.
In the top menu of the program, navigate to “QFIL” select “Tools” >> “QCN Backup Restore”
A new window will open. Click on the “Browse” button and locate file “00000000.qcn” and click “Open.” Then click on “Restore QCN” and wait for the restore process. The process log will look something like this:

Uploading QCN file : C:\temp\00000000.qcn
Checking if phone is connected...
Done uploading the QCN file: C:\temp\00000000.qcn
Finish Restore QCN
