Good news for Huawei Honor 10 users! The Honor 10 Android 9 Pie update has now started to roll out to the users in China.
A few weeks ago, Huawei enlisted the phones that will be eligible for the Android 9.0 update. However, the official release date was never made available for the general public. Later in August, it also began the internal testing. And now, after exactly a month since Android Pie was officially announced, Huawei has finally started pushing the first wave of OTA updates for the Honor 10 users in China.
Honor 10 Android 9 Pie Update based on EMUI 9.0
Honor 10 was announced back in May and is currently one of the most anticipated devices from the manufacturer. Of course, that’s because it offers top-of-the-line hardware and an utterly premium design. The phone came with EMUI 8.0 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. This also means that the phone supports Project Treble, which is one of the major reasons why the update has rolled out so quickly.
