First, you need to complete the Isle of Armor story and upgrade your Kubfu into Urshifu. After completing the story, go to the Dojo, and you will see a Porygon there. Get close to it and interact with it. Then Hyde will give the Porygon to you. So getting a Porygon is relatively easy here, but how do you evolve it? That is a bit tricky, and you will need a few things to do that. First, this is a trade evolution, so you will need a friend who is also probably looking to upgrade a Porygon. Then you will also need an upgrade and a Dubious Disc. So let’s see how exactly does this process work.
How to evolve Porygon in Pokemon Sword & Shield: Isle of Armor?
First, you need to find an upgrade. It is a small transparent device filled with all sorts of data. To get one, go to the Training lowlands and walk past the Grassy area on the left. There you will find an upgrade device. Collect it from there. Next is the Dubious Disc. For that, fly to the train station area and go towards the water. You will see a Wailord here. Behind that, Wailord is a small island, and that is where you will find your Disc.
Once you have both the Upgrade and the Disc, you need to find a friend who is also looking to upgrade his Porygon. As mentioned above, this is a trading evolution, so having a friend here is crucial to the Upgrade. But before trading Pokemon with your friend, first open your Pokemon menu in the game, go to Porygon and choose Held item. Here give the upgrade device to the Porygon.
