Xiaomi has launched its entry-level budget category smartphone called Redmi 8 in October 2019. It came with Android 9.0 Pie on the top of MIUI 11 out-of-the-box. Currently, the Chinese OEM has started pushing the latest January 2020 Security Patch update for the handset with a software version V11.0.6.0.PCNMIXM based on Android 9 Pie.
