This combination provided smooth performance for everyday tasks and moderate gaming. The device ran on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, upgradable to Android 7.0 Nougat, with Huawei’s EMUI 4.1 skin on top.
In terms of camera capabilities, the Huawei Nova came with a 12 MP rear camera featuring PDAF for faster focusing and the ability to record videos in 4K resolution at 30fps.
